When Afropop singer, Becca was signed on to Zylofon Music, there were rumours all over that she and the owner of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah were in a relationship judging from how close they seemed to be.
However, in an interview on Hitz FM, the Nana singer said they only have a business relationship and nothing else. According to her, though Nana Appiah is good looking, rich and hardworking she can't date him.
“I have heard a lot of rumours but I’m not really bothered about that. Yeah he’s good looking, hardworking, determined and all but he is married so I wouldn’t want to go there. He’s wealthy as well but that doesn’t determine happiness. There’s absolutely nothing apart from business related stuff going on between him and I.
“Nana Appiah Mensah is keen on changing the face of Ghana’s entertainment sector so I only engage him on purely business related issues,” she added.
Becca stressed that Nana Appiah does not give her any special treatment like people think and that all Zylofon signees are getting the same benefits she gets.
“Every artiste has a car that has been given to them to use. Nana Appiah can buy me 20 Range Rovers if he wants to, but did not give me the Range Rover I’m using like people think.
"He gave me a car that he gave everybody. I’m hoping to get a 2019 Range Rover, if he’ll buy it for me I’d be glad,” she said.
Becca's latest single, Nana, featuring Sarkodie dropped on Friday, July 20. The video, directed by Director Abass, who is the in-house video director for Zylofon Media is getting a lot of attention since it was released.
The video also features personalities like Sarkodie, politician Fritz Baffour, singer Paulina Oduro, legendary Ivorian singer, Meiway and others.
Recorded by Mix Master Garzy, Becca sticks to her theme of love on Nana as she expresses her adoration for her sweetheart, telling him she will do anything to make him happy.
She calls her man Nana (King) because he is the one who makes her smile always and treats her like a queen.
