NDC Must Apologize To Sir John And Wontumi

The Programmes Manager to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Andy Owusu, has once again expressed his disappointment in the National Democratic Congress for holding a press conference to falsely accuse his boss of engaging in illegal mining.

Mr. Andy Owusu stated that he was shocked when news broke out that NDC, led by its minority in Parliament, had held a press conference to accuse President Akufo-Addo of shielding both Bernard Antwi Boasiako and Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie for engaging in an activity his administration had placed a ban on.

He insisted that the spokesperson for the Jacobu chief on whose allegations the NDC based their press conference on, had vehemently denied ever saying the two NPP scribes were engaging in illegal mining in his area.

This clarification, according to Mr. Owusu, exposes the NDC as a desperate opposition party,  and called on them to “ apologize unreservedly to the two gentlemen.”

“I wonder if the NDC continues to believe that some Ghanaians will forever remain gullible to their deceptions”.

He therefore urged the NDC to learn to analyze issues before making any public pronoucement on them.
