Over the years we have noticed not only one or two but many multi-talented personalities who have tried their hands on different challenges in the showbiz industry. Many musicians have tried their luck in the field of acting. This phenomenon is not only prevalent in our local industry but very much potent in the western industries. The likes of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dog, T.I, Lil Wayne, and 50 Cent have gone out of their thresholds and come out with movies. The local industry has seen acts such as Veeda, Kofi B, Ofori Amponsah and recently the rap champion Lord Kenya join the train. As to whether they succeed in their new found passion is a story on its own but well they did it. Reliable information reached us that the award winning recording artist and the number one love doctor also has plans of joining the make believe industry. In an interview with Quame Jr. at the just ended High Vibes Festival the ladies man confirmed the assertion and said he was only waiting for the right production house. In his own words �I am only waiting for the right script, right director and the right production house and you will see me in the next movie you might be buying�. Asked as to why he had intended to venture into acting he further intimated that �music and acting come in hand in hand, it is almost similar, what we do in music videos is acting, so I thought I might as well gallop it all up and more so it is something I am very passionate about�. Well we all wait in anticipation to see what the silky voice can come up with if he is asked to act out what he sings so perfectly, for all you know they are two different worlds and been exceptional in one does not guarantee your automatic performance in the other.
