Former Brazillian football icon Ronaldo is reportedly in the intensive care unit of Ibiza hospital after coming down with pneumonia.

According to the Telegraph Sport, the 41-year-old was rushed to the Can Misses Hospital on the island on Friday evening where he was diagnosed.

Reports on the Island confirms that Ronaldo asked to be transferred to a private hospital called Clinica Nuestra Señora del Rosario just before midnight the same day.

He arrived on the island a few days ago for the holidays and has been a regular on the island because he owns a house there. The legend has been battling with overweight because of a thyroid problem.
