"We Would Save Ghana Football" - Grusah

Alhaji Karim Gruzah, owner and bankroller of King Faisal Football Club, is confident, Ghana football would be revived, despite the recent turbulence.

He said, they would engage all stakeholders in seeking solution to the current challenges confronted by Ghana Football.

Ghana football has been marred by various wranglings among stakeholders, with the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA), on the verge of suspending Ghana from all football related activities.

But Grusah believes the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) and the Ghana National League Club (GNLC), would  engage the government to resolve issues with FIFA amicably to prevent any ban.

He told GNA Sports in an interview that, "We would save Ghana football. We are ready to engage the government to prevent any possible suspension from FIFA".

Alhaji Gruzah, reiterated the need to instigate massive changes in the football, adding that, "we must start from the statues of GFA, which is not functioning properly".

"But FIFA itself is not a fair entity, if you want government to withdraw the dissolution process against the GFA, why did you suspend Nyantakyi on the same issues arising from the expose," Alhaji Grusah stated.

He said, the current members on the GFA executive members to resign, after the GNLC passed a vote of no confidence in a resolution yet to be sent to FIFA.
