NPP Youth Wing Mourns With USAG Over Tragic Loss Of 2 Students

The National Youth wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye has empathized with the University Students Association of Ghana over the sudden demise of Two of their students passed away on Thursday 16th August 2018 at Cape Coast.

In a statement copied to Peacefmonline.com, the NPP youth condoled with the bereaved families and the University.

"It is deeply regrettable for such promising souls to perish in the course of harnessing their God-given talents."

The National Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is disheartened by the unfortunate incident on Thursday, 16th of August, 2018 at Cape Coast Oasis Beach

This led to the demise of Ms. Lily Ampofowaa Asiedu, a student of University of Ghana and the ebbing of Ms. Saralyn Kwarteng, a student of University of Education, Mampong as well as the varied injuries sustained by Ms. Ayebatonye Sharon Omonikumo of Methodist University College and Ms. Faustina Akaeme from Kings University College.

Reports have it that this unfortunate event happened during a photo shoot session which formed part of the 2018 Face of USAG pageantry procedure, where the four ladies got ebbed.

It is deeply regrettable for such promising souls to perish in the course of harnessing their God-given talents.

Our thoughts and prayers go to the bereaved Families, Institutions, Friends and the entire USAG fraternity.

We also wish the two ladies who were hospitalized speedy recovery.

As delegates and observers journey back to their respective destinations following the dissolution and indefinite postponement of the 2018 Annual Residential Delegates Congress, we pray for God’s traveling mercies to guarantee their safety.
