Black Stars Coach Kwesi Appiah has received an amount of GHC180, 000.00 from Ashfoam to support his foundation.

The Kwesi Appiah foundation which was launched last year is aimed at improving the welfare of retired sports men by providing financial, health aid and skill development.

As part of their co-operate social responsibility, the leading foam manufacturing company donated a ransom cash of GHC180, 000 to support the work of the Black Stars trainer.

The Coach received the said amount at the offices of Ashfoam on Thursday.

Kwesi Appiah will begin preparation with the Black Stars team ahead of the upcoming Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya.
