I Hate Not Akufo-Addo, But... - Kabila

CPP Stalwart, James Kwabena Bomfeh has descended heavily on President Nana Akufo-Addo and his government over their decision to establish a National Cathedral in the country.

The President on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 unveiled an architectural design for the construction of a national cathedral.

It will sit around a 14-acre garden and have chapels, a baptistery, a music school, an art gallery, a Bible Museum and Documentation Centre - It is expected to seat 5,000 people in its main auditorium.

But to have the cathedral is to evict some judges from the residences and demolish other properties since government wants it to lie in a busy place as Ridge in Accra.

James Kwabena Bomfeh, popularly called Kabila, expressed his resentments about the project on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo on Monday.

According to him, it is of no use for the government to establish a cathedral for nation when there are other pressing needs of Ghanaians which have not yet been met.

He noted that using national resources and demolishing properties, all in the name of a cathedral, is nothing but a misplaced priority.

Kabila therefore went all spiritual, sermonizing the government to stop their pursuit to construct such religious edifice.

I’m on good terms with the President. I hate him not and I will not hate anybody for that matter…The life I’ve lived on this earth hasn’t been a perfect one. I have faults and that’s why daily I run to Christ to cleanse me…The biggest church that we have to build for God is our own human body. Are we truthful? Do we have love? Do we have fear for God? What is our development for the human race? For me, those are the key ingredients that will go into building a true temple for God in honor of His Word,” he said.
