Kotoko defeated Ashanti Gold 3-2 in a friendly match at the Babayara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Striker Saddick Adams shot Ashanti Gold into the lead from the penalty spot in what looked like a warning to Kotoko for releasing him to their rivals.

Talisman Songne Yacouba drew the Porcupine Warriors level before another former Kotoko player Eric Donkor put Ashgold into the lead once again.

Yacouba again leveled the scores for his side with 15minutes left to play.

Center-back Wahab Adams netted the match winner for the Reds to snatch victory for his side.
