Bread of Life Ministry holds New Year service

Reverend Peter Kwarteng, Head of the Bread of Life Evangelistic Ministry International, has called on politicians to let their utterances promote peace and unity to ensure national development. He said now that the elections were over, there was the need for political parties to champion the cause of unity and rally behind the ruling government to ensure the better Ghana the country was yearning for. Rev. Kwarteng made the call when he delivered his New Year message in Accra on Sunday. He said the church, as part of its social responsibility, had been making contributions to orphanages and prison inmates in the country for the past 10 years. Rev. Kwarteng said the church had acquired a 40-acre land at Ahenema-Kokoben near Kumasi in the Ashanti Region to establish schools and clinics. He said the church had acquired another tract of land at Tafo Pankrono also in the Ashanti Region to put up a clinic which would cater for the less- privileged. Rev Kwarteng urged the youth to abide by the word of God and desist from the "get-rich-quick" attitude which had eaten deep into the youth.
