Seasoned journalist, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has thrown his weight behind Johnson Asiedu Nketia to maintain his position as General Secretary in the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM’s 'Kokrokoo' programme, Kweku Baako fully endorsed Mr. Asiedu Nketia popularly called General Mosquito stressing “he is more mature” than his contender, Koku Anyidoho.

Though stating emphatically that the two NDC leaders are both problematic, he is bidding for General Mosquito to emerge victor in the party race.

“The two are problematic. Yes, they are but to be honest, I think if I have to make an endorsement; I will endorse General Mosquito…I think he’s more matured. He’s got more quality. He’s got the cutting edge”, he said.
