Cristiano Ronaldo's lawyers claim he and the U.S. model accusing him of rape had consensual sex in his Las Vegas hotel room and then returned to the night club where they had met. 

Kathryn Mayorga claims she met the footballer in Rain, a nightclub in Las Vegas, after which she was invited back to his penthouse suite where he sexually assaulted her in the early hours of the morning of June 13, 2009.

Ronaldo has continuously refuted the allegations, despite a £287,000 hush-money payment to Mayorga in 2010, today branded 'complete fabrications' by his legal team.
