Irene Opare Hates Rawlings

Christopher Seweh who mimicked formal President and founder of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) party JJ Rawlings during the maiden edition of the Just like You competition on TV Africa, has disclosed that popular actress Irene Opare hates him. Christopher said this yesterday Thursday January 15 on Peace FMs Entertainment Review program, during an interview after he was adjudged ultimate winner of the show on Sunday. According to Chris he doesnt see face to face with Irene Opare who was one of the resident judges alongside actor Fred Amugi and guest judges Fred Kyei Mensah and Carlos Sekyi. There is no good morning between us. Anytime she sees my face she calls me a rebel, because am always quiet, but when she speaks against me, it is always in me but automatically you see my reaction that am angry, so when I am expressing myself I dont come out in a mild way. Trust me Irene herself is afraid of me Chris stated. Chris said he saw that if Irene Opare had her own way she would have evicted him from the competition. I told myself that Irene Opare can send me home, so when Im coming on stage I tell myself that take off your mind from that woman and prove to her that you can do it. So if I came on stage, my performance would make her open her mouth wide and she would be looking at me in shock. So you see I stole her mind away and at the end of it she told me you are lucky. She was always surprised at what I do on stage. Chris Rawlings however admitted that Irenes critical eye on him, urged him on to work hard which helped him to become the eventual winner. For his prize Chris took home GH1,500, a week cruise package on the Nile in Egypt, a weekend for two at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, a TV set, DVD player and a refrigerator Charles Dankwa who played Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo came second and took home GH1,000, a weekend for two at Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, a TV set and a DVD player.
