Education Directors calls for positive attitude to work

Mr Joseph Kwabena Onyinah, Ashanti Regional Director of Education, has urged officers and other staff of the Ghana Education Service (GES) to adopt positive attitude to work. He said it was important for all to accept to work hard and become more innovative to raise performance. Mr Onyinah was addressing the staff of the regional education office in Kumasi. He demanded from them whole-hearted devotion and total commitment to duty, warning that corrupt and professional misconduct would not be entertained. He said they would not allow acts that would undermine the progress of education in the region. Mr Onyinah also underscored the need for team work, co-operation, mutual respect and understanding and said it was through this that they could achieve the goal of quality education delivery.
