Scores of golfers on Saturday, October 20, 2018, took part in the 2018 CAL Bank Open Golf Championship at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra.

The bank held the event as part of its annual programme to empower both professional and amateurs of the golf fraternity.

The event which spanned for three days was aimed at fostering healthy sporting rivalry among the participants.

There were lots of fun and display of skills on the golf pitch by the players to the delight of the guests, colleague golfers and staff of the bank.

Philip Owriedu, Executive Director of CAL Bank assured the gathering that the bank will continue to support the championship.

The winners of the various categories of the competition were presented with trophies and branded souvenirs from CAL Bank.

Kenyan resident in Ghana, Victor Oyongo was crowned the overall winner after returning a net score of 68 in the men’s Group A.

Other winners are Ben Dabrah, Chao Peng, Jane Opoku, Mona Captan, Kwame Boafo among others who won in various levels of the competition.
