Assemblies Of God Church, Soulcare Centre Embark On Clean-Up Exercise To Mark SHILOH

Pastor Emmanuel K Ayeh, the head pastor of Assemblies of God Church, Soulcare Center, has called for an attitudinal change in order to address sanitation challenges facing the country.

Pastor Ayeh who disclosed this at the launch of its flagship programe organized every year by the church dubbed, SHILOH indicated that there could be an endemic if the poor sanitation condition of the country is not addressed.

In line with activities to mark the program, the church organized a cleanup exercise within the Ashogman Community Hospital and its environs.

Speaking to the Peacefmonline, Pastor Ayeh noted that the exercise was aimed at sensitizing members of the church and the Ashogman community on the need to keep a clean environment .

He said: “some citizens turn to blame the government year in and year out for their perceived lack of commitment to achieving a cleaner and healthier Ghana.”

Again it must be admitted that as citizens, we continued to wallow in unhygienic practices such as indiscriminate urinating, defecation, and littering.

It will therefore, be a herculean task to achieve the goal set up by the government to keep Ghana clean if Ghanaians don't put up a committed spirit to ensure that our surroundings are clean.

A member of SHILOH committee took the opportunity to enlighten church members on a series of programmes line up commencing from 5th to 18th November, 2018 under the theme; “I Will Build You And You Shall Be Rebuild”, Jeremiah 31:4.

Various programmes lined up for the programme include an intercessory prayer session, deliverance, health walk, and health screening.

The programme would be supported by Prophet Albert K Oteng and Bishop Samuel Osakwe. Members of the public are all entreated to be part for uncommon favour and blessing in this year’s SHILOH program.

Jeremiah 31:4 I will build you up again and you, Virgin Israel will be rebuilt. Again you will take up your timbrels and go out to dance with the joyful.”
