#NDCdecides2018: Gen. Mosquito 'Bites' Koku To Retain Seat As Gen. Secretary
Reports gathered so far indicates that Johnson Asiedu Nketiah popularly known as General Mosquito has retained his seat as the General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Johnson Asiedu Nketia has for the fourth consecutive time been elected General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He beat Samuel Koku Sitsofo Anyidoho by an overwhelming margin.
Asiedu Nketiah per confirmed results got 6642 votes with Koku Anyidoho garnering only 1,625.
Supporters of General Mosquito are seen jubilating and dancing to various hiplife tunes including Shatta Wale's ‘I know my level’.
The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC, Mr Ade Coker commenting on the provisional results said Koku Anyidoho made a mistake in deciding to contest General Mosquito.
He said if Koku, who was the Deputy General Secretary had consulted him, he would have advised him against the move.
