DCOP Redeemer Vincent Dedjoe, the Western Regional Commander of Police at the weekend presented various food items to the inmates of the Sekondi Prisons.
The items included; 20 bags of Rice, 10 boxes of frozen chickens, two bags of sugar, five boxes of frytol cooking oil, ten boxes of caked soaps and ten buckets of washing powder to the Sekondi Prisons to make life and living more hopeful for the inmates.
DCOP Dedjoe while handing over the items to the Deputy Director of Prisions, Ernest Asante Adofo said he was doing so on behalf of Prophet T. B Joshua as Emmanuel TV partner and also on behalf of the IGP of Ghana, David Asante Appeatu to support the inmates and show them some love in the festive mood.
The Regional Commander said it was important that such people were remembered and assisted in the season as a measure of extending God's love and care to them.
Mr. Ernest Asante Adofo, after receiving the items expressed gratitude to the Regional Commander for the gesture saying, "It is the first of its kind that a commander has donated to support the inmate".
