LAWYERS OF Gregory Afoko, the man standing trial for the death of New Patriotic Party’s Upper East Regional Chairman, the late Adams Mahama has pleaded with the court for a second chance to produce his 2nd witness.

She however did not opposed to the adjournment.

The court presided over by Justice LL Mensah said given that the defence prays for a second chance to bring their witness.

The court said ,the prosecution had 14 witnesses, “so if the accused has two or three witnesses lets give him the chance to also present his two witnesses.”

The court adjourned the case reluctantly to Thursday, Jan 24, 2019.
