Kidnapped Takoradi Girls: We Will Force The Suspect To Talk – Gender Minister

Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Cynthia Morrison says if possible, they will go the extra mile to “force” the suspected kidnapper to reveal the whereabout of some teenage girls he abducted.

Report says the Police have ‘given up’ after the suspect refuses to talk – but the Minster has assured that “we will force him to talk”.

Residents in Takoradi have been tensed in recent months following the kidnapping of seven teenage girls in the regional capital.

The Police have so far managed to arrest one Nigerian suspect named Samuel Wilson Udoterg, but have not been able to extract much information from him.

Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, Cynthia Morrison noted that she is having sleepless night because of the abducted girls.

"I can’t sleep over this. I am also a mother. What are they eating? We will force the suspect to talk," she told host Kwesi Aboagye.
