Information reaching Peacefmonline.com indicates that the New Yaa Naa who was enskinned over the weekend in Yendi after 16 years of tribal impasse, is planning to engage the media in the Northern Region on their reportage going forward about new Dagbon.

Reporting from Yendi on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, Alhassan Abdul Rashid, Peace FM’s Northern Regional Correspondent said one of the priority areas of the new Yaa Naa, will be an engagement with the media on filing factual and credible report on Dagbon and its immediate environs.

“Currently, Dagbon is peaceful after the coronation of Yaa Naa Abukari Mahama II. Now, the new Yaa Naa is planning to engage the media as one of his core objectives on how best to report issues within the Dagbon and the way people talk about Dagbon on social media," he narrated.
