“I used my fees to start up my business” - Glings

Eugene Tweneboah Koduah, known as "Glings", Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Highfashionbyglings, has said, he used his school fees, as a start-up capital, for his fashion business.

The fashionista, in an interview with GNA Entertainment, said, due to financial challenges, he had to start a business to support himself in the University, hence the decision to fall on on his fees for that venture.

“I was struggling to pay my fees in the University and I decided to do something for myself to earn an income.

“I had to defer my course in other to use my fees as capital to start a business, with the help of a friend.

Glings said, he started his brand as “Face Off”, which he used to style “Brown Berry” and was given “shout out” on air, till MTN Hit Maker season 5 gave him an opportunity to style the participants.

“My breakthrough was, when I was called to style the participants of MTN Hit Maker season 5. It gave me the chance to style almost all the celebrities in Ghana including D Black, Bisa K dei, Stone bwoy, Kurl Songs, Kwame Eugene and Jupita", he said.

Asked about his new song titled “Otafrigya”, he said, he had his inspiration from the “Evergreen” hit maker King Maaga, who he featured in his song.

“King Maaga has always been my source of inspiration with his persistence and consistency.

“I have discovered my talent as a musician and I am working on that after my song titled "OTAFRIGYA" featuring King Maaga was released," he added.
