The Federation of International Professional Footballers Associations (FIFPRO), Africa Division, is set to hold its finance committee meeting in Ghana, on Wednesday January 30, at the Alisa Hotel, in Accra.

The meeting, which would be attended by its member unions in Ghana would have Zambia, South Africa, Morocco, Botswana, Ivory Coast, DR Congo, Cameroun, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Gabon and Kenya, with Tunisia as an observer.

In a release copied to GNA Sports, the Professionals Footballers Association (PFAG), would be represented by Solomon Torson, Deputy General Secretary, who is also a member of the Africa Division Finance committee.

According to the release, the twelve member association would also have in attendance Stephane Saint Raymond, Director of Communications for the African Division as well as FIFPRO’s Mrs Frederique Winia and Mrs Reineke Hooft both from the Netherlands.

The Board of Division Africa led by Secretary General Stéphane Burchkalter, has Anthony Baffoe (Ghana), Cyrille Domoraud (Ivory Coast), Thulaganyo Gaoshubelwe (South Africa), Magdy Abdel Ghany (Egypt), Stacey Naris (Namibia) and Geremi Njitap (Cameroon), as board members with Chelsea Football Club legend Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast) as the honorary president of Division Africa

Geremi Njitap, also a former Chelsea Star represents Africa in the global FIFPro board.
