Wontumi To Bus Illegal Voters To Ayawaso West- NDC Man Alleges
We have credible information that the NPP is on a grand scheme to rig the bye elections at Ayawaso West which is scheduled for tomorrow.
As part of this grand scheme, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, popularly known as Chairman Wontuni is tasked to secretly arrange for buses to bus illegal voters to vote at the bye elections.
We are reliably informed that about 15 buses have been secured by Wontumi from VIP and STC to help mobilize these voters from Tema, Kasoa, Madina and other areas to Ayawaso West.
The information gathered indicated that these buses would pick these illegal voters at 4 o'clock in the morning at their respective terminals.
We have also chanced on some of the registration numbers of these buses and we dare to strike at this unpopular scheme by the NPP.
Again, we send a strong warning to Chairman Wontumi to stay away from the bye elections in Accra. We only know him to be an Ashanti Regional Chairman and as such he should mind his business.
We again want to send a strong warning to the NPP that we shall resist any attempt to rig the bye elections because we are monitoring them closely.
