Member of Parliament for Sefwi Juaboso in the Western Region, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has donated a brand new Mercedes Benz ambulance to the Juaboso Government Hospital.

In a brief ceremony which was held at Sefwi Proso-Kofikrom on Friday, 1st February, 2019, the MP presented 70 sewing machines and 6 hair dryers in addition to the ambulance to be given to some people who officially requested for assistance to further their career through sewing and hairdressing.

Speaking at the durbar, Mr. Akandoh stated that he remains committed to quality health care to the people of Juaboso.  

“I remain committed to my promise to stop pregnant women and sick people from being carried on motorbikes and other discomforting means to their referral centres.

"The Mercedes Benz ambulance comes with a monitor for reading temperature, Oxygen and other state of the art equipments,” he stressed.

Receiving the Ambulance, Mr. Bright Nkrumah expressed his profound gratitude to the MP for his kind gesture and added that, the ambulance has come as a biggest relief to the health centre since it will reduce the difficulties health authorities encounter in referring patients to the referral centers.
