Hiplife legend, Emmanuel Nana Appiah Boateng known in music circles as Kontihene says musician Kwabena Kwabena used to smoke marijuana and also engage in the usage of narcotics.

Kontihene, made these shocking disclosures about the 'Adult Music' hit maker, in an interview with host Kwame Adjetia on Neat FM's 'Entertainment Ghana'.
 
According to him, he discovered Kwabena Kwabena and as a good person decided to produce his first album.

However, he revealed, Kwabena Kwabena developed a love for smoking and sniffing other narcotics, a character trait that impelled him (Kontihene) to cease providing financial assistance and any kind of support for the former's music career.

“All you hear is he is smoking wee here. He is sniffing cocaine there. How do you feel? Then if I channel that money into poultry farm, it would be better ," he said.

Whiles dismissing suggestions of a feud between them, the "Asesa" crooner strongly rebuffed the notion that the highlife artiste who was once his protégé, has moved on to become greater than him (Kontihene).

To him, Kwabena Kwabena can never achieve his status in the music industry even over his death.

“How can he be bigger than me? That you have grown and can smoke wee, so you’re bigger than me. No!

“ . . It can never happen. Even if I die and stop doing music, he can never be bigger than me," he asserted.
