Elder brother of the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election shooting victim has disclosed that, his younger brother’s leg will not be amputated as speculated.

Ibrahim Musa who was speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show, ‘Ghana Montie’ was emphatic that the medical team treating his brother has not told them his leg has to be amputated.

“My brother is responding to treatment. We appreciate what the doctors are doing for him. We have not been told that his leg will be amputated. He is doing well and his leg is okay,” he told host Kwesi Aboagye.

Ishau Yaro, 37, was shot at close range by some masked men suspected to be National Security officers and his right leg is badly damaged.

A straight shiny metal has been fixed beside the leg to keep it straight because the bullets damaged the bone in the leg.
