Making it as a new artiste in the Ghanaian music scene is already quite tasking, add the fact that you’re female and it becomes even more daunting because you face certain challenges the males won’t have to deal with.

Afropop musician, Vanessa Nice, certainly wants to play a good role by using her music to promote peace and love. And her new single, Burning Desire, is set to make her vision come to life.

Burning Desire is a mid-tempo Afropop track infused with some Highlife rhythms and Vanessa Nice sings in English and Twi. On the track Burning Desire, Vanessa Nice tells her man how if he leaves her how she go die because she has a burning desire for her.

Vanessa Turkson Duodu is a 20year old singer, songwriter and a recording artist known to the music industry as Vanessa Nice.

She’s a Ghanaian born in Obomeng Kwahu in the Eastern Region to be precise. She’s from a family of four, which she’s the last born - play a little bit of Guitar and a great lover of art and a fun of Indigenous Highlife music. That explains why highlife music and Afro pop as a musician does. Vanessa Nice is studying computer science at KNUST and She recently released her single titled * Burning Desire* which is doing quite well in the Music market.

For her, the trick is to do timeless songs and not the ones that enjoy airtime for a short time and fade away. “I don’t just want to follow the crowd and do songs that die out in a few weeks. I want to do songs that can stand the test of time. I am a versatile artiste who does not like to be confined,” she said.

Vanessa Nice said she has a lot of material which he will be releasing this year. “Music lovers and my fans should look out for hit songs from me; I will do nothing to disappoint my fans.”
