Hiplife artiste Emmanuel Appiah Boateng, known in showbiz as Kontihene has expressed his fondness of embattled Menzgold boss Nana Appiah Mensah popularly known as NAM 1.

In an interview on Citi TV, Kontihene said even though he does not know much about how NAM1 went about his gold business, he believes there is a virtue in him that can be tapped into. “I like his spirit. I like his boldness. There is something about him that I like. I pray that we can use his brain for something better for ourselves,” he said.

Currently, Nana Appiah Mensah is not in Ghana even though court had issued arrest warrant on him.

Meanwhile, he will make his third court appearance in Dubai on Thursday, February 14, where he is facing a misdemeanour charge over a US$23 million deal, gone bad.
