Plastic Surgery Is Not A Sin; I'm Proud Of My Body - Nana Frema

Actress and Singer Nana Frema Koranteng is pleased with her physique after going to Dr. Dominic Obeng Andoh of Obengfo Hospital to undertake a liposuction, otherwise called plastic surgery.

A liposuction is the process in which excess fatty tissue is removed from under the skin and pumped into other areas of the body, oftentimes the buttocks.

Nana Frema Koranteng, who has since been vociferous about her looks and body shape, in an interview with host Kwame Adjetia on Neat FM's "Entertainment Ghana" show, explained she underwent surgery to gain a beautiful body shape.

According to her, she was not happy with her initial body because her stomach bloated disfigured the perfect shape of her body and due to this; she "decided to go to Dr. Obengfo to make fine adjustments to her body".

The singer, who was in the studios to promote her singing career and an upcoming programme, told the host that she is not ashamed of her "artificial" body because at some point in time in her life, her body began to give up on her and so she had to do something about it in order not to experience inferiority complex.

“Growing up, I had a very good body. My body was very beautiful” “my stomach bloated and you know when your stomach becomes big, your buttocks starts to shrink. So, I went to do it in order to return to my former state".

Nana Frema Koranteng held a strong view that "plastic surgery is not a sin".
