A furious President Donald Trump laid into Jussie Smollett on Thursday after Chicago police arrested the disgraced 'Empire' actor and prosecutors charged him with filing a false police report related to a hoax attack he claimed he suffered last month.

Smollett had said a pair of men wearing ski masks and 'Make America Great Again' hats attacked him on a Chicago street, shouting racist and anti-gay slurs. He claimed they shouted 'This is MAGA country!' as they beat him and put a noose around his neck.
