The 16-year-old boy convicted of raping and murdering Alesha MacPhail was today unmasked as a cat-torturing teenager called Aaron Campbell.
The depraved teenager, who enjoyed playing violent video games including Fortnite and another about horror character Slender Man, had received anonymity due to his age - but a judge has now decided to overturn this.
Campbell was told that the rape, murder and abduction of the six-year-old girl on the Isle of Bute on July 2 last year was among the 'wickedest' crimes that Glasgow High Court had ever heard.
