"Focus On Your Campaign And Stop Throwing Mud At JM" – Sam George To Namoale

The Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Sam Dzata George has asked the former Member of Parliament for La Dadekotopon constituency, Nii Amasah Namoale to concentrate on his campaign rather than throwing mud at former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Executives, describing his attitude as lame and stillborn.

According to him it is either political naivety or intentional mischief to suggest that the National Executives feed and transport the 300,000 delegates from the filing fees.

On his facebook page, he wrote: “Your campaign should be showing gratitude and commending any other Campaign Team that seeks to fill in the welfare gap. Focus on your campaign and stop throwing mud at JM.”

Read full statement below;

Nii Amasah Namoale, Your stringent attempt to attack the National Executives of the NDC and the John Dramani Mahama campaign is lame and stillborn.

The 7 Candidates paying GHS 320,000 raised only GHS 2,240,000 for the Party. The Electoral Commission alone is charging the NDC a total of GHS 1,100,000 for its services. The cost of other logistics like the venues for the Constituency Conferences, Security arrangements with the Police among other election related expenditure exceeds the balance left.

It is either political naivety or intentional mischief to suggest that the National Executives feed and transport the 300,000 delegates from the filing fees. Your campaign should be showing gratitude and commending any other Campaign Team that seeks to fill in the welfare gap. Focus on your campaign and stop throwing mud at JM.

He remains focused on the Prize and the best bet for the NDC in 2020. I wish you and your Candidate well but be sure to come onboard the larger JM campaign after the resounding Mahama victory on Saturday.
