Prez. Akufo-Addo In A Dialogue With Presidents Of Cote D’Ivoire, Togo, Benin & Burkina Faso

The Minister of Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has revealed that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Friday, 22nd February, 2019 held a day’s meeting at Jubilee House, Accra with the President of Cote D’Ivoire, His Excellency Alassanne Ouattara; President of the Togolese Republic, His Excellency Faure Gnassingbe; President of the Republic of Benin, His Excellency Patrice Talon; and the President of the Republic of Burkina Faso, His Excellency Roch Marc Christian Kabore.

According to the Information Minister, the meeting was held at the invitation of President Akufo-Addo and is part of a series of regular interactions held by the five Presidents to address matters of mutual interest in the areas of trade, security, and regional integration.

The visiting Presidents however will leave the country same Friday, 22nd February, 2019 to their respective countries.

STATEMENT - PRESIDENT AKUFO-ADDO MEETS WITH PRESIDENTS OF COTE D’IVOIRE, TOGO, BENIN & BURKINA FASO

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Friday, 22nd February, 2019, held a day’s meeting at Jubilee House, Accra, with the President of Cote d’Ivoire, His Excellency Alassanne Ouattara; President of the Togolese Republic, His Excellency Faure Gnassingbé; President of the Republic of Benin, His Excellency Patrice Talon; and the President of the Republic of Burkina Faso, His Excellency Roch Marc Christian Kaboré. The meeting was held at the invitation of President Akufo-Addo, and is part of a series of regular interactions held by the five Presidents. The discussions focused on addressing matters of mutual interest in the areas of trade, security, and regional integration.

The visiting Presidents will leave Accra on Friday, 22nd February, 2019.
