A defeated presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sylvester Mensah, had to 'run' for his life when chaos broke out at one of the polling stations he visited.

In a 33 seconds video, the former Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) was seeking for cover while being interviewed by a journalist.

As he begun to speak, some supporters of the party started fighting and quickly Sylvester Mensah had to cut the interview abruptly. 

Sylvester Mensah was quickly salvaged by some individuals who appeared to be his bodyguards and quickly walked off the scene.

It is unclear what might have started the fight but they were quickly separated by some bystanders.
