Member of Parliament for Atebubu/Amantin and Minster-designate for Bono East Region, Hon. Kofi Amoakohene in collaboration with Moniks media firm, a local based consortium in Atebubu has organized a Science and Maths quiz competition for Senior High Schools within the enclave of Atebubu/Amantin.

Participating schools were the three Senior High Schools in the constituency, namely; Atebubu SHS, Amantin and Vision Obama SHSs.

Atebubu SHS won the competition with 96 points with Vision Obama emerging as the 1st runner-up with 51 points and Amantin SHS followed with 48points.

Hon. Kofi Amoakohene gave a set of computers, text books, exercise books, certificates and a cash prize to the schools.

Speaking to Peace FM's Bono East Regional Correspondent Kwabena Manu, Hon. Amoakohene stated that the motive behind the quiz was to whip up the attitude of studies in the school children.
