A Cleaner Ghana Is A Safer Ghana - Acreaty Ghana

To mark this year’s International Women's Day, Acreaty Ghana partnered with Zoomlion to tackle the growing sanitation challenge in the country.

Partnering with women from Zoomlion to clean up the Madina Market, the Managing Director of Acreaty Ghana Mrs. Elsie Apau-Klu expressed concern about the increasing challenge of sanitation across the country.

She called for an urgent need to tackle the issue of sanitation as a national concern, which should be addressed as a collective responsibility regards of one’s affiliation.

“The issue of poor sanitation has major future consequences ranging from an outbreak of diseases and natural disasters. A cleaner Ghana is a safer Ghana, Cleaning one community at a time” she said.

“It is time women take the front role in addressing some of these problems. Women and children are mainly at risk when there are major outbreaks or disasters.”

“The government must not neglect its role in ensuring organizations such as Zoomlion are well equipped to work efficiently.”

The staff of Acreaty Ghana joined the market women in madina with the Zoomlion to clean up the market.

The Managing Director, as part of her message to women on this day, commended the female employees of Zoomlion for their dedication and hard work.

“passionate female employees of Zoomlion are using integrated systems to tackle Ghana’s waste management challenges”. She added.
