The Power Distribution Services Ghana (PDS) following Tuesday's power outage has debunked rumors that 'Dumsor' has returned.
Some parts of Accra have been experiencing frequent power outage popularly known as ‘dumsor’.
On Tuesday, some parts of Accra including Lapaz, Abeka, Sowutum, Kasoa, Tema, Kwashieman, Odorkor, Awoshie and others slept in darkness until Wednesday morning.
This made people wonder if we have entered the era of dumsor again.
William Boateng, the Public Relations Officer of the PDS says the recent power outages are as a result of a technical problem which has been resolved.
It is not 'dumsor', he assured in an interview on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo'.
