A High court judge, Justice Eric Kyei Baffour and Kwabena Essien, Data Centre Manager of the Judicial Service on Thursday explained the meaning of E-Justice in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo'.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Wednesday launched a $97 million e-Transform project, a paperless court system that will comprehensively enhance the nation’s efforts at improving its justice delivery.

It seeks to automate the existing manual filing systems within the courts' registries, from the filing of cases to the execution of court decisions.

Asked if the introduction of the E-Justice will not create unemployment, Mr Essien said it will be the same people who will be trained in managing the new system.
