I Had To Put 'Small Brother' Pius Right - Nii Lante On Beef
Member of Parliament for Odododiodio constituency, Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuiye has explained why he had a verbal altercation with a Deputy Minister of Information, Pius Enam Hadzide.
But for the timely intervention of Kojo Yankson, host of AM Show on Joy TV, the duo; Pius and Nii Lante would have engaged in a physical confrontation on live TV following a heated exchange.
In a video that went viral, Nii Lante and Pius could be seen and heard hurling insults at each other.
Speaking to the issue as a panel member on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', Nii Lante said Pius should have spoken to him respectfully and not in that rude manner he did.
According to the NDC MP, irrespective of the ministerial title Pius wields, in terms of age, Pius is not his co-equal; thus the Deputy Minister should have accorded him (Nii Lante) that respect.
