Deputy National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joshua Hamidu Akamba says a press conference by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) that it has found the location of the kidnapped girls is “laughable”.

“What I know is the police will only hold a press conference when they have succeeded in their operation,” he said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.

His comment comes after the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service publicly said they have identified the location of the three kidnapped girls and will soon bring them home.

But, Akamba believes the Police are playing ‘mind games’ – adding that, “They just want to divert attention.”
