Dumsor: OFFICIAL Loadshedding Starts...+ Areas To Go Off

The Power Distribution Services (PDS) has started a load-shedding programme while technicians attempt to resolve the issue with regards to the recent power outages.

Even though the Ministry of Energy has assured Ghanaians that within 12 days power will be restored across the country, there are repeated calls to have a schedule for everyone to know when they will have power.

Public Relations Officer for PDS, William Boateng in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi said the Power Distribution Services (PDS), Volta River Authority (VRA) and the Public Utilities and Regulatory Commission (PURC) have decided to issue a timetable after a meeting on Thursday.

According to him, per the outcome of the meeting, parts of the nation will experience power outages from 6am to 6pm each day.

Below is a statement from PDS indicating which areas will go off today.
