Kamal Deen To NDC: We Want Facts Not Propaganda

A Deputy Communications Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kamal Deen Abdulai says everything the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) said during their lecture on Thursday was preempted by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He said it is evident the NDC had no facts to debunk the ones raised by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia during the town hall meeting Wednesday.

On Wednesday, 3rd April 2019, Vice President Dr. Bawumia led the Economic Management team to give Ghanaians a peek into the activities of the ruling government as far as achievements in the economy are concerned. He spoke about the cedi and the now popular reduction in benchmark value at the port.

The NDC will not let the issues go without responding

On Thursday, 4th April they also organized a lecture to debunk most of the issues raised by the Vice President. According to them, Walewale Albert Smith (Bawumia) misled Ghanaians in his speech which was full of lies.

Adongo said Bawumia had turned 'Manchester' (the economy which was doing well under Mahama) to Stoke City.

However, Kamal Deen is not surprised.

“We had preempted this . . . they should respond with figures and facts; don’t be allergic to facts . . . give us facts and not propaganda . . . but we are serious and focused; ready and poised to work . . . ” he noted while speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' programme.
