Multiple award-winning female Traditional artiste, Sherifa Gunu, has been nominated to represent Ghana at the 13th edition of SICA Music Festival slated for 22nd April – 29th in Guinea Conakry.

The most potent female traditional musician raised the flag of Ghana high by winning similar award in the year 2008, when she represented Ghana.

Luckily, the celebrated musician, has been nominated once again to represent Ghana.

In an exclusive interview with the ‘Kelewele’ hitmaker, she was optimistic of making Ghana proud once again.

“I’m just entreating all and sundry to throw weight behind me. And, with the help of the Almighty Allah, I will set another ground- breaking record this year,” she stated.

SICA aims at accompanying those that fight to make African integration a reality and those who make culture their preoccupation.

It is believed that one of the shortest roads to this integration of African Continent is culture that is everybody always becomes identified by its culture.

The other initiative of SICA is to outdoor African Culture Integration and to open more business avenues within the entertainment industry in Africa.
