NPP Loyal Ladies, USA Supports Ghanaian And African Community

The NPP Loyal Ladies chapter in Maryland, USA, have donated assorted items to the St Vincent Catholic Church in the City of Baltimore as their token to support the church in bringing cheer to the less privileged during the Easter festivities.

The Loyal Ladies also undertook a clean up exercise and free distribution of food to the homeless, including Ghanaians and African migrants.

The President of the Maryland Chapter of the Loyal Ladies, Ms Kate Forson, said the group organized this novel program as part of its 3rd anniversary to emphasize the group's focus on not only political engagement and inclusiveness among women, but also catering to the humanitarian needs of the under privileged in society.

The group Ms. Forson shared is also involved in providing free legal and medical counseling to Ghanaians especially young women who happens to need it in the United States.

Ms Forson encouraged young women in the diaspora to take keen interest in the political trajectory of Ghana, with a view to organizing to ensure that their voices are heard in the shaping of policies that affect women.

She said the Loyal Ladies will garner all the resources needed, both human and material, to campaign effectively to ensure that the New Patriotic Party retains political power in 2020.

According to Ms Forson, since coming into power, the NPP government has undertaken to empower women through free education, employment creation and the protection of women and children against abuse and violence. Adding that Ghana cannot afford a reverse of these laudable achievements by the NPP government as a result of bad choices at the polls, urging Ghanaians to vote massively for the NPP again in 2020 for continuity of progress.

Currently, the NPP Loyal Ladies have 4 chapters on the east coast of the United States with branches in Washighton D.C., Virginia, New Jersey and Maryland.
