A Nine (9) months old baby has been found alive after she was buried alive by her mother in a forest at Senya Breku in the central region.

Speaking on Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, Peace FM's central regional correspondent, Seth Mantey disclosed that the baby's incessant cries drew a passer-by's attention who went to inform the police.

The baby was found alive after police were able to retrieve her from the forest where she had been buried alive by her mother.

She is currently receiving treatment at the central regional government hospital whilst police have launched a manhunt for the mother.
