The National Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku has condemned the rivalry between the award winning dance hall musicians in Ghana, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

In his opinion, the rivalry between them is needless which has to be stopped as soon as possible before it gets out of hands.

Speaking on Okay FM's Ade Akye Abia Programme, he reiterated that Ghanaians are only interested in enjoying their songs and not their dark rivalry.

According to Mr. Awuku, both dance hall artists do not need to be friends before they smoke the peace pipe

"I personally enjoy the music of both gentlemen...they are both talented. If they agree to be at peace with each other, can put Ghana on the world map of entertainment."

"Workout your rivalry to put Ghana on the world map of entertainment," he advised .

He therefore urged the MUSIGA and Ghana Tourism Authority to help counsel both artists to work out their rivalry.
