Guus Hiddink has confirmed he will leave his post as Russia coach when his contract expires on June 30, 2010.
"After speaking with the new Federal President I have decided that I will no longer be coach of Russia upon expiry of my contract. That is all I want to say for now," he told De Telegraaf / Telesport.
Hiddink began his Russia stint in 2006. He reached the semi finals at EURO 2008, but failed to qualify for World Cup 2010.
Russia will not be looking for a new coach to guide them through Euro 2012 qualification.
Hiddink has been linked with a number of teams including Juventus and Heerenveen.
