Reports reaching Peacefmonline.com say a team of police officers have stormed the Tema Mall, one of the biggest shopping centres in the Tema Municipality, ostensibly in search of hidden explosives aimed at blowing up the mall.
Sources says stringent security measures have been put in place at the mall, with shoppers and incoming vehicles being subjected to rigorous searches.
Recent fire outbreaks in Accra have raised concerns that saboteurs could be behind such tragic events.
The Mall, is opposite the former Sanyo Factory at the Heavy Industrial Area in Tema.
