NPP's Implementation Of Free SHS Is 'K)t) Bekum Wo Mma' - Kojo Danquah
A Communication Team Member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kojo Danquah, has described the New Patriotic Party (NPP’s) double Track System of the educational policy, the Free SHS and its implementation, as nothing short of "‘K)t) Bekum Wo Mma".
According to him, the free SHS, while a piece of good news for every Ghanaian, has unfortunately been poorly implemented by the Akufo Addo-led government.
Kojo Danquah, contributing to UTV’s Adekye Nsroma Morning Show, stated that the NPP cannot take pride in rolling-out the Free SHS as their own policy since it is every government’s constitutional mandate per Article 1992 Constitution.
“Free SHS is good news for every Ghanaian …something that should have brought relief to families, has now over-burdened them because of poor implementation…One of my neighbors complained bitterly to me just a few days ago that she has been spending close to GH2,400 every 3 months on extra classes which is outrageous…NPP’s Free SHS is nothing but K)t) bekum Wo mma,” he stressed.
